Best rums from the 2024 ADI International Spirits Competition

Two rum label brands won Best of Class and Best of Category at the 2024 American Distilling Institute (ADI) International Spirits Competition (ISC) judging. 

The 2024 edition of the American Distilling Institute’s (ADI) International Spirits Competition witnessed a dazzling array of winners, showcasing the diverse and vibrant world of rum.

Venturing across the globe, the competition also recognized Burdekin Distillery’s Premium Aged Rum from Queensland, Australia, as the Best-of-Class Bottled and blended International Sugar Cane Spirit. 

Described as a complex rum with rich flavors of caramel, vanilla, and oak, Burdekin’s creation exemplifies the diversity and quality of international rum production.

Exceptional Craftsmanship

The Best of Category winners further exemplified the excellence found in the rum category. From 18th Street Distillery’s 3 Year Straight Barrel Aged Rum to South Hollow Spirits’ Twenty Boat Barrel Reserve, each spirit showcased meticulous craftsmanship and distinctive flavor profiles, captivating the judges and earning well-deserved accolades.
