PayPal appoints Srini Venkatesan as chief tech officer

PayPal has hired Srini Venkatesan, one of Walmart’s top tech directors, as its new chief tech officer. The firm told Reuters on Thursday that Venkatesan would lead its stimulus into AI.

At Walmart, Venkatesan led a team of 14,000 within the U.S. Omni Platforms and Tech organization.
