Armin Strom marks its 15th anniversary with the release of the One Week Manufacture Edition, a limited-edition timepiece that honors the brand’s legacy while embracing modern design elements.

Tribute to Armin Strom’s Legacy

Limited to just 100 pieces, the One Week Manufacture Edition revisits Armin Strom’s first-ever calibre from 2010, the One Week.

This model pays homage to the original in-house movement while infusing it with a contemporary aesthetic.

Encased in a 41mm stainless steel case with an integrated bracelet, the watch exudes a sporty yet sophisticated vibe. The PVD anthracite mainplate and bridges create a striking monochromatic look, accentuating the openworked movement’s complexity.

Re-Adjusted Mechanics

At the core of the One Week Manufacture Edition lies the new manual-wind ARM21 calibre, providing a generous seven-day power reserve courtesy of its dual mainspring barrels. These symmetrically arranged barrels are visible through the open dial, ensuring consistent energy delivery.

The power reserve indicator employs a unique conical system inspired by traditional pocket watches. The watch boasts meticulous hand-finishing, including straight- and circular-grained surfaces, chamfered and polished bevels, Geneva stripes, and polished screws.

The anthracite PVD-coated components add a modern touch, while the faceted hour and minute hands filled with Super-LumiNova guarantee optimal legibility. The small seconds are displayed on a black sub-dial at 9 o’clock, also featuring the brand’s “AS” logo.

Performance and Ergonomics

The One Week Manufacture Edition features a higher oscillation frequency of 3.5 Hz compared to its predecessor, enhancing its chronometric performance. This technical improvement required a complete re-engineering of the gear train.

Designed for everyday comfort, the watch’s stainless steel case measures 41mm in diameter and 10.6mm in height. The integrated steel bracelet, with its H-shaped satin-brushed and polished links, complements the watch’s modern aesthetic and ergonomic design.

Armin Strom’s One Week Manufacture Edition not only celebrates the brand’s 15 years of integrated manufacture but also showcases its commitment to blending tradition with innovation, making it a must-have for watch enthusiasts and collectors.
