American Airlines responds to flight disruptions

American Airlines will change specific routes in the second half of 2024, and the first quarter of 2025, the carrier stated on Friday, noting ongoing Boeing 787 delivery delays.

Following Southwest’s Lead:

The decision to adjust routes and operations follows a similar announcement by Southwest Airlines, which also cited issues related to 787 delivery problems. This indicates a broader industry challenge stemming from Boeing’s production issues with the 737 MAX.
